Jacqui Austin is a professional artist with decades of
experience, a prolific artist from a very young age starting her art practice
in her teens.  Born in England her art
was first shown at the prestigious South End school of art in Essex. And after
moving to Canada in the late 60’s her art was shown at the Stratford Art
gallery in Ontario.

Moving to Victoria BC in the 1970’s she now works out of a

large Studio in acres of forest in Saanich on Vancouver Island. Her work shows
and sells out of ART IN THE BARN GALLERY. A converted horse barn or online. A
full catalogue of her work will be forthcoming online in the fall of 2025.

Commission enquiries are welcome. She also teaches artist
workshops a few times a year.

Her work is held in collections around the world including
Japan, Australia, Northwest- Territories, England, France, Texas, Hawaii, Haida
Gwaii and more.

Jacqui mainly works in a graphic and illustrative style
depicting wildlife and natural themes, while also painting in a more classic
mode for landscapes and portraits. She works on several paintings at a time. Commonly
known for her large format paintings of humpback whales.
